It’s always humbling when other people say nice things about my guitars. Of course, I’m fond of them, but I also spend much of my time thinking about how to make them better in a thousand different ways. (Just ask my wife what I talk about all the time!)
It was no different when the German guitar periodical Akustik Gitarre offered to test one of my 00 guitars in 2022. The jazz guitarist and journalist Franz Holtmann wrote a very kind review of that guitar, saying among many positive things, “Playing and above all hearing this light and responsive guitar is pure joy!” That’s the goal!
